Speed humps require petitioning – If you are interested in getting speed humps on your street or in your alley, we request that you collect signatures of 65% of the block (by address). Once we have called through and confirmed the approval of your neighbors, we will request that speed humps be installed where requested! Please note this may take some time to implement.

To host a block party in the ward, you will need to fill out this form, and collect signatures from your neighbors on the block! We require at least 65% of the block (by address) to approve of this event, which we review upon receiving your application! Please note that our office requires at minimum a week to be able to call through petitions and to submit your application through the permit portal. Once our staff has called through and submitted your application form, your permit can be picked up at our office along with no-parking signs!

If you would like to implement Residential Permit Parking on your street, you will need to petition your block! Our office requires that you petition and collect signatures from 65% of your block – by address – to approve this implementation. After our staff calls through this petition and confirms that neighbors are in overall approval, we will introduce an ordinance to implement RPP. Please note this process can take up to a year.

Our office can assist you with applying for disability parking posts in front of your home! You will need to have a state-issued placard for your permanent disability before applying! Please note the first application costs $70, and the process to obtain these posts can take upwards of a year.

This request is to make CDOT aware of any potholes in alleys that need to be filled. Often this service request can take a few months to be completed. Please contact our office to submit this request in the event we are able to escalate it.

You may submit this request with our office or via 311 for street potholes. These often take some time to be completed; however, you may reach out to our office to try and get this request escalated.

This request should be submitted in the event someone dumps waste in the public way, especially in the alleyways blocking the right of way.
To report fly dumping, you can call 911 if you witness the dumping in progress or submit a "Fly Dumping Complaint" by calling our office or 311 if the dumping has already occurred.

🌳 Tree Trim Requests
The Bureau of Forestry no longer accepts 311 requests for trimmings.
Forestry now follows a grid system, trimming branches block-by-block, in each grid of the ward.
This system was created to improve efficiency by ensuring each ward has a dedicated day of the week for tree trimmings to improve widespread attention to tree care in the city! In the 35th Ward, crews for tree services are in the area every Tuesday.
Though there is no formal 311 request for tree trims, in the event you are experiencing issues with a tree in the parkway that is urgent, please contact our office with images of the tree and your address so we may be able to escalate service.

Water billing for many can be costly, especially for those on a fixed or low income.
Our office is able to help residents apply for various programs offering discounts to low-income or age-eligible homeowners on their water bills.
