Community Resources

The 35th ward is made up of four of the greatest neighborhoods in the City of Chicago: Avondale, Irving Park, Hermosa, and Logan Square! Each has its own unique charm, and rich history that we are proud to represent!

Over the last year across our city and in the 35th ward, many have experienced the challenges of the rising cost of living, from groceries and rent to property taxes. Many of our immigrant neighbors have been deeply impacted by violent ICE raids and deportations that have separated families. These hardships have affected our homes, local businesses, workplaces, and classrooms, disrupting the everyday rhythm of our wonderful neighborhoods.

That’s why, as our 35th Ward Alderman, I have been working alongside our neighbors to learn what matters most to our communities so I can best represent our values in City Council. My team and I have also gone door to door to connect people directly with essential resources and city services. We continue to support and grow our Northwest Side Rapid Response Network to protect our immigrant and school communities, and we will work diligently in our capacity in city council to improve the quality of life for our residents.

Looking forward, I’m committed to continuing to bring people together to support our neighbors and strengthen our neighborhoods.
